About the Instructor Michele Packard, Ph.D. is the Executive Director of Sage Institute, a licensed outpatient drug and alcohol treatment facility that specializes in training of mental health professionals. Dr. Packard is a licensed psychologist and certified addictions specialist with over 20 years experience in the field. She was a national presenter for the American Counseling Association for ten years. Dr. Packard has presented at numerous conferences in the United States and Canada, including National Association of Social Workers, American Psychological Association Western Division and Texas, Nevada and Colorado Commissions on Alcohol and Drug Abuse.
